I am not a garage sale person. I have a hard time deciding what I really want, what would just clutter my basement instead of theirs, and I hate bargaining. And I hate feeling like a chump. But a few people recommended a local mom-2-mom sale to me, and because I was a friend of a member, I could go in 30 minutes before the general public. So basically you pay $4 if you buy anything, but it's a place where hundreds? (dozens at least) of moms get together and put their good quality clothes and toys for sale. There were 3 big rooms with tables full of stuff, one with big things (strollers, exersaucers), one with toys and one with clothes. A whole table was full of girls 9-12 months clothes, for example. Everything has a tag and a price and there's no negotiating (phew!), you just throw it in your bag and then pay at the check-out. And I actually enjoyed it. Of course I wish I had a mom/sister/friend to go with like everyone else, so I was feeling a little lonely, but it was fun. So I picked up about 10 new items of clothing for Lucia, a winter jacket and a snowsuit, boots, and about 8 new toys for $50. I think it was good. Then I went to Kohl's where everything seems impossibly inexpensive and got her some new sleepers and cotton clothes.

Lucia stayed home with daddy.

Mommy's loot.

Lucia and 2 new toys.
